ESL: The Key to Your Academic Journey

Brock Academy believes that every student should have access to a quality education. That is why we offer our specialized ESL (English as a Second Language) curriculum, which has been created to assist students excel in their academic and university studies.

In Ontario, students who do not finish grades 1–8 with all English subjects may be required to attend ESL classes before beginning high school. At Brock Academy, our Canadian teachers evaluate each student’s English proficiency upon registration. Based on this evaluation, we advise students on whether they require ESL classes.

Our ESL Program follows the Ontario Ministry of Education’s criteria. It consists of five levels of Academic ESL, preparing students to seamlessly move into conventional high school Academic English. This holistic approach prepares students for the difficulties of high school and beyond.
